Margaryta Suvorova Joins the UVF Team

We're pleased to announce that Margaryta Suvorova has joined the Ukraine Volya Foundation team as a Formal Ambassador.

Margaryta was born and raised in Ukraine and felt a personal connection to the Ukraine Volya Foundation efforts because of her family's journey. She immigrated to the U.S. in 2009 to pusue a nursing degree. Along with her passion for Ukraine, she is a successful healthcare practitioner based in Washington DC and, in the past, volunteered to support children and women victims of the Afghan war.

"To be able to help others is the greatest blessing," said Margaryta. "Spreading the word about the situation in my country and the UVF programs to help children are important for me. I am happy to be a part of UVF because I want to help my country and my people, especially orphans. They are vulnerable because they don't have parents and rely only on our help."

Nataliya Vyetrova, President and CEO of Ukraine Volya Foundation, said, "We are honored to have Margaryta as a part of our team. Her skills in healthcare, wellness, and supporting at-risk populations are vital to our work. In August 2022, Margaryta travelled with us to Ukraine visiting orphanagesand delivering humanitarian aid. Margaryta’s deep understanding and appreciation for the dire situation in Ukraine coupled with her medical training and passion for the Ukraine Volya Foundation makes her an ideal Ambassador and contributor to fulfill the mission of our foundation."

Margaryta lives and works as a healthcare practitioner in Washington, DC. She fosters a deep love for nature and in her free time, she is a videographer. Her feelings are deeply connected with her homeland. "We must work hard to help and rebuild the country," she said.
