UVF opens Mental Health Room to Prioritize Emotional Well-being of Children

10 October, 2023 – Ukraine Volya Foundation, a leading advocate for mental health for children, is thrilled to announce the opening of a dedicated Mental Health Room at the Center of Child Support “ Lyibustok” in Lviv, Ukraine. This initiative aims to provide essential support and resources to the children residing at the “Lyibustok”, furthering the organization's commitment to improving the mental well-being of vulnerable individuals in our community.

The newly established Mental Health Room at the orphanage is a safe and welcoming space designed to cater specifically to the emotional and psychological needs of the children. It serves as a therapeutic environment where trained professionals of UVF offer counseling, guidance, and various mental health services to promote healing, resilience, and personal growth.

Through the efforts of UVF, the Mental Health Room has been thoughtfully equipped with comfortable furnishings, age-appropriate educational materials, art supplies, and sensory tools. These resources are intended to create a nurturing atmosphere that encourages self-expression, coping mechanisms, and the development of healthy emotional outlets.
